The view from my perch on the mountain

October twilight

A few frames captured while out with Sam.

An out of control stray house cat population has led to coyotes roaming the ridge in search of an easy meal.

As a result, one of us always goes out with Sam after dark. He doesn’t even know he’s a dog and would probably want to play with coyotes. I don’t think he would stand much of a chance against them.

This evening I took the camera along to try some low light shots. These are a few of the best.

Really like your last photo of the leaves with the moon behind them..
its beautiful tonight.. tried to get the moon as it was coming over the ridge.. by the statue of the Ladies of the Rockies.. but my camera is not doing what I want it to do..
needs cleaning really bad.. is the problem I think.. or hope so anyway..
to bad about the coyete’s.. they can and are at times a pain.. but what does one do.. other than make sure the pets are watched..
    hope your evening is restful..
heard you hurt your back? hope you start to feel better soon.. the back is not fun when it gives off pain..
